Scott began his drilling career in 1992 as a drillers offsider and worked his way up through several large drilling companies in supervisory and management roles until he founded Deepcore Drilling in 2005. Scott has extensive experience in all aspects of the industry concentrating his efforts on rig design and automation to reduce manual handling in the industry.

Don Started in the drilling industry in 2004 at Stawell Gold Mine and has worked at various mine sites throughout Australia. Don joined Deepcore Drilling in 2010 and has contributed in various roles before being appointed as General Manager in 2015.

Darren began his drilling career in 1994 working his way up to senior driller. Darren joined Deepcore Drilling in 2008 taking on supervisory roles in the Victorian operations before taking on the role of area manager for Victoria. Darren has been influential in managing the company’s expansion into PNG and is the General Manager for Deepcore Drilling PNG operations.

Trevor began his drilling career in 1981 at the age of 21 off siding with Australian Diamond Drillers and has worked in various locations Drilling, Supervising and Managing. He was part of the founding management team of Deepcore drilling in 2005. Trevor is currently managing Deepcore Drilling’s South-East Asia operations.

Rodney began his drilling career in 1987 as a drillers offsider and worked in various roles throughout Australia in the drilling industry. He was part of the founding management team of Deepcore Drilling in 2008 as the senior driller then Victorian Operations Manager. Rodney is currently the Queensland Regional Manager based in the company offices in Caboolture QLD.

Andrew Stewart started in the mining industry in 1988 as an offsider and has worked in various roles in the industry. Andrew joined Deepcore Drilling in 2008 as a founding member. Andrew is currently the Australian Operation Manager based in the company head office in Bendigo VIC.

Andrew Mattiske has a degree in Chemical Engineering with more than 20 years experience in the mining industry in Australia and the Netherlands, having held senior management roles in safety and environment, production operations and metallurgy. Andrew joined Deepcore Drilling in August 2016.

Phil began his career in the mining industry in 1990 with a Contract Drilling Company as their book keeper, since that time he has been employed by a further three companies in various roles ranging from payroll, to HR to purchasing. He is a founding member and part owner of Deepcore Drilling and is now the company’s Financial Controller based out of the Stawell office in VIC.

Daniel started his career in the automotive industry, where he worked for 16 years before joining Deepcore Drilling in 2009 as a Drill Fitter. He quickly rose through the ranks and is now the company’s Maintenance Manager based out of the Victorian head office. Daniels current role involves the overseeing of the company’s maintenance departments, rig builds and light vehicle workshops.
