What do I need to apply?
Deepcore Drilling requires that all applicants possess the following requirements, prior to commencing:
C-Class Manual Driver’s Licence (min)
Current First Aid/CPR
(within 6 months)Current National Police Clearance
(within 1 month)Evidence of Australian Work Rights
Why drilling?
A career in drilling can be highly rewarding.
Daily activities include physically-demanding work, assisting the Driller with rods and removing/cleaning core samples.
Crews work 12-hour day/night shifts, in remote locations, on/around mine sites, on the surface, or underground.

Is my background suitable?
There are a few things to consider before applying for a role as a Driller’s Offsider with Deepcore Drilling:
Do I have a positive, supportive attitude toward team work?
Have I worked in industries where my own safety, and the safety of others, is paramount?
Am I comfortable with working 2-weeks on, 1-week off, doing 12-hour shift work?
Have I worked remotely, or worked shift work previously?
Do I feel comfortable working at heights, or in an underground environment?
Am I able to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical, to ensure I am physically fit to complete the work safely?
